2010 Fellows Program

2010 Fellows Program Overview PDF

Fellows Program:
The 2010 Fellows Program will consist of 10 events, which kick off on March 3-4th with our Annual Convocation. Our first Collaborative will follow on March 24-25th in Dallas, with eight additional Collaboratives running one per month through November 2010.

Between March and November of 2010, each of the nine selected Research Fellows will host a series of half-day collaboratives to which selected industry “thought leaders” will be invited. The object is to generate actionable approaches that will stimulate innovation in healthcare capital improvement strategies, with all proceedings published by the Rice University Building Institute.

Fellow Selection Criteria:

Each of the Fellows was selected based on the following criteria:
  • Industry prominence
  • Body of work
  • Innovative Approaches
Collaboratives - What's Required:
Individually, Fellows are asked to identify capital improvement concerns of vital importance. The Institute suggests that they avoid philosophical or conceptual issues and concentrate on items that are currently pressing and of particularly high value. Please visit each collaborative above to learn more about their topics.

Collaborative Panelists:
Panelist participation on 2010 Fellow Program Collaboratives is by invitation only, and structured to encourage interdisciplinary, constructive conversation toward a single, Fellow-driven topic in non-competitive environments.

Active participation in each Collaborative is limited to the Fellow and representatives and 10-12 expert panelists.
